Growing up in Minnesota, I was always surrounded by love, wisdom, and stories from the past from my grandma and grandpa. These visits to my grandparents' house in the north have become something of a tradition, and each trip reminds me of how important it is to stay connected with loved ones.
Through these trips, I’ve learned that no matter how busy life gets, it’s important to pause, reflect, and spend time with the people who have shaped you. Whether it was spending time with grandma in the kitchen making her famous caramel rolls or tinkering around in the garage with grandpa making bird houses. Life was good. It was simple and quaint. I am so thankful for my memories of Mort and Helen. You will be forever cherished in my heart.
